Feeding time at Stonebridge City Farm…

They say that animals are a fantastic form of therapy- and we could not agree more!
When one of our clients here at space started a Voluntary position at Stonebridge City Farm in Sneinton, we jumped at a chance to get a special tour of the premises, and learn more about what it takes to care for these furry friends!

From mucking out to feeding time- there is a lot of work that goes on behind the scenes at the farm to ensure that the animals are all happy and healthy! It was fantastic to get involved in some of these things, and to see the enjoyment that the farm provides for its staff and visitors alike! (Our favourite part of the day was feeding the goats!)

We also got the chance to have a look around the farm to see the wonderfully creative murals that are dotted around, as well as wooden animal sculptures – and not forgetting the wonderful vegetable and fruit garden!
