Going to the Doctor or Nurse can be a nervous experience for us all. We had a Community Nurse visit our Arnold site to show clients some commonly used equipment. Clients were encouraged to look at and use the stethoscope and blood pressure monitor.
To ease any anxiety, Tigger was a great help to show clients how they work!
Supporting and encouraging each other throughout the session, clients used and explored all the equipment. From checking your temperature with an ear thermometer and reading your pulse through your finger, clients were brilliant. Being able to explore these common items can really help individuals in the future.
