After a morning of cooking, clients walked to the local park for some sensory down time.
Clients had the choice of their own fillings for the pasties including cheese, tomato and herbs. With support, they rolled out the pasties after using a cutter to create a circle shape. They were then encouraged to fill their pasties with ingredients, before putting them in the air fryer to cook.
Learning about healthy choices and how to stay safe while cooking and using the kitchen is a valuable independence skill to understand.
